New Buffalo City Beach is absolutely beautiful, and what better way to enjoy it than by kayak or paddleboard? Come paddle the New Buffalo shoreline at one of Harbor Country’s best beaches.
How does it work?
Arrive at the beach site during open hours and rent whatever equipment you and your group would like. You’ll then paddle for an hour or more and return to the same place you started when finished. It’s a blast!
Reservations for smaller groups are not necessary or accepted. For groups of 20 or more, please request a quick quote to set up a reservation. We can handle very large groups – up to 70 people! Get more info on large group outings here.

When are you open?
Memorial Day weekend and first two weeks of June: Friday – Sunday, Noon – 6:00 EST (Michigan time).
June 16 through Labor Day: Noon – 6:00 EST (Michigan time) daily.

How much does it cost?
$20 per hour for a single kayak or stand-up paddleboard
$25 per hour for a double kayak

Prices include the kayak (single or tandem) or stand-up paddleboard, paddle, and life vest.
What to bring?
Dress for the weather; come prepared to get a little wet from the drip of your paddle and be out in the sun. Lightweight, synthetic clothing is best. Sunglasses, sunblock, and a hat are a good idea. Your camera has a possibility of getting wet, so bring a water proof bag. Sorry, no alcohol allowed!
